Janet Maria Lowhorn was born October 9, 1945 and departed this life Saturday, March 21, 2020 reaching the age of 74 years. She was the daughter of (the late) John B. and Audra (Crabtree) Smith.

She married Hubert Lowehorn and to this union 2 children were born.

She is survived by: 2 daughters, Angie (Mark) Cravens and Sonja (Sam) Jenkins; 1 sister, Wonnie McFarland; 6 grandchildren, Levi (Megan), Ryan (Danna) & Seth Cravens, Taylor (Josh) Tucker, Trevon Barcus, and Hayden (Alyssa) Auker; 5 great-grandchildren, J.J., Emma, Ava, Reid, and Rose; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Hubert Lowehorn; 2 brothers, John B. Smith Jr and James Smith; and 3 sisters, June Melton, Reba Samaras and Virginia Huddleston.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Due to the current COVID-19 virus situation, and upon recommendations by the CDC for Funeral Homes, a PRIVATE family service will be held for Mrs. Janet Maria Lowhorn.
