Jay Davis of Monticello, Kentucky was born March 26, 1972 and departed this life April 3rd, reaching the age of 50 years.

He was the son of Shirley Musgrove Davis and the late JB Davis.

Along with his mother Shirley and her companion Freeman Troxell, he is survived by his companion, Tracy Huckaby, the mother of his two daughters; Amanda Davis, daughters; Angel Davis, Alexis Davis, two sons; Colter Davis, Dustin Davis, three sisters; Lisa Coffey, Tersia Troxell, Rhonda Gregory, three brothers; Roger, Glenn, and Jeffery Davis, and one grandchild; Heavenly Lopez. He is preceded in death by his father, JB Davis.

Jay had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Little Community Church in McCreary County.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 8 ^th from 10AM until 1PM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following at 1PM. Burial will be in the Hurt Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Jay Davis Memorial Fund at the Funeral Home.
