Jesse Chaplin was born July 21, 1947, and departed this life Monday, January 29, 2024, reaching the age of 76 years. He was the son of (the late) Jesse and Eliza (Guffey) Chaplin.

He married Barbara Chaplin and to this union 4 children were born.

He is survived by 1 son, Jesse Chaplin, Jr.; 3 daughters, Barbara Anette Chaplin, Angela Chaplin, and Tammy Hutchinson; 4 sisters, Bonnie, Katie, Loxxie, and Patty; 9 grandchildren, Christian Harris, Amy Chaplin, Ethan Morrison, Abby Chaplin, Adam Morrison, Amber Chaplin, Michael Hutchinson, Amanda Hutchinson, and Cody Harris; and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Chaplin; 3 brothers, Bob Chaplin, Mitchell Chaplin, and Melvin Chaplin.

There will be no public service.
