'Jewell Dean Dixon Bell, of the Number One Community, was born April 7th, 1935 in McCreary County, Kentucky to the late Ruby Lee Watson Meredith and Dewey Dixon and passed away Monday, March 11th, 2013 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, reaching the age of seventy-seven years.
On July 26th, 1949 she was united in marriage to the late Arvin Loyd Bell and to this union ten children survive: Six daughters; Glenna Mae (late Nelson) Stonewall, Marilyn (Bobby) New, Ruby (Zyndall) Watson, Ruth Grace (Fred) Smith, Mary Evelyn Bell, Beverly Rose DiazHerrera and four sons; Ronnie K. (Bonnie) Bell, Norman Wade (Rosie) Bell, Paul Phillip Bell, Arvin J. Eddie (Regina) Bell and Travis Prater. Also surviving are three sisters; Velda Pitman, Doris Bell and Katherine Dobbs, five brothers; Glasco Coffey and Jimmy Marcus Coffey, George, James and Jerry Matthews. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband of forty years, two infant sons, two granddaughters and two grandsons.
Sister Bell was a lifelong member of the Jesus Name Apostolic Church and attended faithfully as long as her health permitted for sixty-one years.
She will be sadly missed by a host of nieces, nephews and lots of friends and loved ones that loved her so much.
