'Jewell Armina Clark Hancock, age 88 was born March 1st, 1925 the daughter of the late Thomas Luther and Mary Guffey Clark. She departed this life Monday evening, September 16th at the home of her niece, Mary Jo Abbott.

She was united in marriage with Eldon Clay Hancock, who passed away September 27th, 1999.

She is survived by her step children: Edwin Hancock and Betty Hicks. Surviving are her step grandchildren: Dennis, David, Kevin and Brian Hicks, Tina Crabtree and Cindy Lanning, Rhonda Ramsey and Ronald Hancock, sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, her sister-in-law Veola Clark and eight nephews; Ronnie, Tommy, Tim, Mike, Jeff, Joey, Tracy and Trent Clark and eight nieces; Kathy Choate, Brenda Lozano, Darlene Gutierrez, Beckey Miller, Mary Jo Abbott, Freda Garner, Sheila Kennedy and Vicki Askins along with numerous great nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Jewell was the last surviving member of the Thomas Luther Clark Family. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Fred Clark, Everett Clark and Edna Clark.

Mrs. Hancock had accepted Christ as her Lord as a young lady and became a member of the Cabell Grove Methodist Church and attended the Bethesda United Methodist Church. She loved to worship the Lord and she was a Prayer Warrior.
