'Jimmie Gaye Abner Groce was born in Monticello, October 5, 1951 the daughter of the late Lloyd and Marie Doss Abner. She passed away, Tuesday, May 30th at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital reaching an age of 65 years.

Surviving is her husband, Steve Arnold Groce and children: Rose Marie and husband Ben Fant, Christy Lynn Carender and Michael Shane Groce.

Also surviving are her siblings: Mary Denney, Phyllis Boatman, Raymond, Eddie and Kenneth Abner; grandchildren: Jaden and Coye Fant, Kyle and Kathie Green, Pamela, Brannon, Cori and Zack Groce. Her grandchild; Alexx Hudson precedes her in death.

She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of New Castle, Indiana.
