'Jimmie Lane \u0027Jim\u0027 Russell, age 71 was born December 9, 1945 in the Coopersville Community of Wayne County, the son of the late Andrew and Wilma Crabtree Russell. Jim departed this life Monday evening at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Foster Russell and two children: Tim and his wife Chris Russell and Carol and husband Kevin Tuggle. His son Damon and his wife Kitty passed away as result of an accident.

Also surviving are his grandchildren: Amy Conley, Elaine Morrow, Chelsea Morrow, Hannah Tuggle; great grandchildren: Laney Morrow, Hunter Morrow and Olivia Conley; siblings: Susan Abbott, Christia Kidd, Teresa Patton and Bruce Russell.

He is also preceded in death by his brother: Ricky Russell and grandson, Jacob Russell.

Jim was a farmer and lumberman, worked for years in the wood products industry and a former magistrate for the Wayne County Physical Court. Jim had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Canadas Creek Baptist church.

Visitation:
5 to 9 Wednesday and Thursday until 10AM in the Funeral Home Chapel and from 11AM to service time at 1PM Thursday at the Church.
