Obituary
'Joan Powell Anderson age 78 was born December 18, 1932 in Monticello the daughter of the late Earl and Mabel Bertram Powell. She departed this life Wednesday afternoon, November 2, 2011 at her home on West Columbia Ave. after an extended illness.
On July 4th, 1970 she united in marriage with Lawrence Anderson who survives.
Also surviving are three sisters: Nancy Daffron of Monticello; Geraldine Gregory of Louisville and Linda Lewis of Florida; with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She is preceded in death by her brother: Donald Powell.
Joan worked as a Dental Assistant for over 40 years and was a lifetime member of the Monticello United Methodist Church.
Visitation:
Friday from 5 to 9 and Saturday morning at the Funeral Home and Saturday from 12 to 2 at the Church
Funeral:
2PM Saturday at the Monticello United Methodist Church
Interment:
Elk Spring Cemetery',
