'Joanne Mary Gordon Massengale was born May 27th, 1952 in Cherokee, Iowa the daughter of the late Vernon and Betty Lou Mangles Gordon. She departed this life on Friday, April 20th at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.
On February 8, 1979 she united in marriage with Jerry Lee Massengale who passed away February 8th, 2007.
Surviving is her son, Jeremy and his wife Kim Massengale and her granddaughter, Myla Massengale; her sister, Nancy and husband Norm Hill; her half sister, Pamela Harrmann and brother in law, Richard Ravnsborg
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and twin sister, Jeanne Ravnsborg.
Joanne and Jerry were owner operators of the Happy Days Soda Shop in Downtown Monticello. She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Rectors Flatt Baptist Church.',
