Obituary
'Joe Fred Cooper was born February 11, 1934 the son of the late Joe Fox and Myrtle Denney Cooper. He departed this life Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017 in Lexington reaching an age of 83 years.
He united in marriage with Goldie Esteleen Richardson Cooper on December 20th, 1952. To this 64 year union two daughters survive: Debra Jo and her husband Abbas Larian and Connie Lynn and husband Scott Cumming.
Also surviving are his grandchildren: Stephen Bertram, Nika Larian, Dwayne Roberts and Lucas Roberts; great grandchildren: Amara, Keith, Carlie and David Roberts and Amanda Rains. Surviving siblings are: Alice Gosser, James, Ray and Gary Cooper. His sister: Dorothy Francis precedes him in death.
Joe served his country with honor in the United States Army and was retired from the National Guard as a Chief Warrant Officer. He had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a faithful member of the Spann Hill Baptist Church.
