Josephine "Josie" Gregory was born August 28, 1951 and departed this life, Saturday, September 12, 2020 reaching the age of 69 years. She was the daughter of (the late) Robert and Rena (Phillips) Bell.

She is survived by: her husband, Lowell Gregory, 1 son, Jack Vaughn (wife Carolyn); 2 daughters, Loretta Vaughn (lifelong companion, Kendrick Hoover) and Ramona Foster (husband Joe); step sons, Billy Joe Gregory and Tracy Gregory; step-daughters, Rhoda Phillips and Anita Gregory; 1 brother, Robert Bell; 3 sisters, Rosetta Spradlin, Alma Sue Vaughn and Lonnie Sears; 5 grandchildren, Morgan (LD) Vaughn, Tosha (Jamie) Jones, Megan (fiancé, Wes Cross) Lay, Riley Foster and Myra Vaughn; 6 great-grandchildren, Jadden Ball & Jozie Tucker, Colson & Amberly Vaughn, Zoey & Kylie Lay; 7 step grandchildren; and 19 step great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 5 brothers, Ernest Bell, Eugene Bell, Curt Bell, Wayne Bell and Ottis Bell; 3 sisters, Reba Bell, Francis Heath and Audrey Bell; 3 half-brothers, Alvin Bell, Dallas Bell and Dennis Bell; and 1 half-sister, Jewell Roberts.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 between 5pm - 8pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 1pm at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Quinton Cemetery.
