Josephine Kidd of Monticello, Kentucky was born June 8,1933 and departed this life Monday, July 10,2023 reaching the age of 90 years. She was the widow of the late Robert Kidd and daughter of the late Cleave and Lola Anderson Spradlin.

She is survived by two sons; Robert Douglas (Katherine) Kidd and Roger Dale (Linda) Kidd, one half-sister; Wilma Watson Roberts, three grandchildren; Nicholas Kidd, Angel (Nathan) Sexton, Bradley Kidd, and one great grandchild; Nathan Sexton Jr.

Along with her husband Robert Kidd, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Bobby Spradlin, Edison Spradlin, and Estman Spradlin.

Josephine had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Big Springs Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 14th from 5PM until 8PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 15th at 1PM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in McCreary Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
