'Joyce Reno Young Kennedy was born in Wayne County May 1st, 1937 to the late Robert and Ethel Higgs Young and departed from this life Friday, April 13th, 2018 in Vine Grove, Kentucky reaching the age of eighty years.
Joyce united in marriage to Arvil Kennedy and to this union survives her daughter, Joyce and her husband Garry Marshall of Vine Grove, Kentucky. Also surviving are her sisters, Kate Sweet of Palm Springs, California and Linda Aldridge of Monticello along with her grandchildren; Nathan, Donny and Stefan Arndt, Daneta Sims, Bo, Ramonda and Veronica Marshall and her nineteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her cousin, Delores Morris, brother-in-law Huel Kennedy, sister-in-laws, Sherril Bone and Flonnie Campbell along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her sisters; Vivian Young Isaacs, Zina Filmore Young, Clara Lavonne Boyd and her brothers; Robert and Gary Young.
Joyce had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Grace Independent Baptist Church.',
