Judy Ann Edwards was born May 4, 1977, in Somerset, KY to the late Othie Jr and Ella (Weaver) Brumley. She departed this life Friday, September 27, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY, reaching the age of 47 years.

She is survived by her children: Sheila (William) Catron, Larry (Crystal) Kessler and Mary (Justin) Kessler; Grandchildren: Johnathan Catron and one on the way. Siblings: Cynthia (Leonard) Goatee and Henry (the late Melissa) Brumley. Special friend and family member: Larry (the late Sheila) Jones. Along with a host of family and friends who deeply mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents Othie Jr. and Ella (Weaver) Brumley, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Columbus Brumley, Winnie Meredith, May Brumley, Patricia Brumley, Joyce Brumley, Nancy Davis and Michael Brumley.

She was a devoted and loving Mother and Grandmother (GooGa) who will be forever missed by all who knew her. She was a very strong person, who devoted and lived her life for her children and grandson.  She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandson and many friends. She was dearly loved and admired by everyone around her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Judy Edwards Memorial Fund, c/o Hickey Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 11 AM – 1 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, October 4, 2024, at 1 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Cabell Grove Cemetery.
