­­­­­­­Julia Smith was born Tuesday, July 30,1929, and departed this walk of life Wednesday, February 25, 2026, reaching the age of 96 years. She was the daughter of the late James Coffey and Canzada (Foster) Coffey.

She is survived by her Children: Linda Martin (RJ), Betty Morrow (Lloyd) and Patricia Foster (Mac); Grandchildren: Teresa Wallen, Chris Martin, Michael Morrow and Brian Foster; Great Grandchildren: Rileigh Strunk, Olivia Martin, Paisley Martin, Nicholas Gregory, Bowen Bell, Emilyn Bell, Brentley Foster, Bristol Foster and Byrce Catron. Great-Great Grandchild: Branston Gregory; Friend and Care Giver: Mara Dishman. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family that mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents James and Canzada Coffey; she was preceded in death by her husband: Ralph Fredrick Smith; Siblings: Belle Coffey, Hattie Ball, Marcus Coffey Tommy Coffey, Lizzie Barrier and Sena Burke.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 11 AM – 1 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2, 2026, at 1 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
