'Julie June Geiger Catron, age 72 passed away Monday, August 9, 2011 at her home. She was born, July 3rd, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Dr. Robert and Ruth Pace Geiger.

On August 24th, 1955 she was united in marriage with the late William Oris -Bill- Catron. She was the daughter in law of the late Cress and Leslie Catron.

She had a large family: Cathy and her husband Jerry Crabtree of Monticello; Sharon and husband Bob Bowen of Floyd Knob, Indiana; Robert and wife Lori Catron of Monticello; Angie and her husband Kent of San Jose, California; Steve and his wife Jill Catron of Tipp City, Ohio; Bro. Nick and wife Marlene Catron of Albany and Bro. Rick and wife Diana Catron of Monticello. Her step son, Mike Catron precedes her in death.

Julie was also blessed with 20 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; her sister, Betty and her husband Billy Story of Louisville; a host of other family members and friends whom she loved very much and will morn her passing.

Julie believed in hard work and worked hard until her health started to fail. She taught her children to work hard, something they all are thankful for. -Nothing is free and comes cheap- she would say.

As a child she accepted Christ as her Savior. Upon moving back to Wayne County she joined the Rector-s Flat Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her death.
