­­­­­­­­Keith Junior Simpson was born December 10, 1927, and departed this walk of life Tuesday, December 16, 2025, reaching the age of 98 years. He was the son of the late John and Ida (Delk) Simpson.

He is survived by his Sons: Roger Lee (Billie) and John David (Lynn); Daughter: Marilyn Holt; Grandchildren: John Dillon, Joshua David and Cameron Keith Simpson; Great Grandchildren: Everleigh and Evan Tate Simpson; Sisters: Ina Mae Hurt, Dean Brewster and Joyce Bernard. Along with a host of family and friends that mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents John and Ida Simpson; he was preceded in death by his wife: Hilda Alie Hurt Simpson; Brothers: Benny, Kenneth and Paul Simpson; Sisters; Evelyn Winchester, Lula Foster and Irene Holt.

Keith loved to farm. He was a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
