'Kenneth Lee Sloan was born June 27, 1940 the son of the late Obie and Ada Lee Garrett Sloan. He departed this life Thursday evening, November 8th at his home in the Frazer community of Wayne County reaching an age of 78 years.

On October 28th, 1963 he united in marriage with Donna Jean Parris who survives. To this 55-year union three children survive; Doris Sloan, James Sloan and Robert Sloan.

He is also survived by his siblings: Nina Mae Cowan, Mary Ann Hudson, Jo Sloan, Andy, Terry, William, Johnny, Wayne and James Edward Sloan; his grandchildren: Devin, Halei, Braedon, Kamara Sloan and Austin Ramsey; great grandchildren: Malaya Sloan, Keilen Calhoun, Bralei Lofton and Maci Huff. He is preceded in death by his sister, Minnie Stigall.

Kenneth was retired from Belden Wire and Cable. He had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the MT. Zion AME Church.',
