'Kermit Foster, age 87 was born February 23, 1928 in the Kidds Crossing community of Wayne County, the son of the late TJ and Nellie Burks Foster. He departed this life, January 25th at his home in Bronston.
On August 14, 1948 he united in marriage with his surviving wife of 67 years, Dora Nellie Roberts Foster. To this union three children survive: Gary Thomas and his wife Delores Foster; Patsy and husband Alvin Morrow and Valerie and her husband Ricky Branscum.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren; nineteen great- grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter and his sister, Jo Carol Koger and brothers: Dempsey, Gleason and Bro. Lowell Thomas Foster.
He is preceded in death by his siblings: Elva Bell, Gale, Gilbert, Ray, Clifford, Curtis, Boyce Dean and Howard Foster.
Kermit was retired from East Kentucky Rural Electric. As a young man he had accepted Christ as his Savior and became a member of the Bell Hill Baptist Church and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Bronston at the time of his passing.
