'Kevin Wesley Smith, age 41 was born in Covington, Kentucky, the son of the late Johnny Kyle Smith who passed away in 2005 and Jenny Margaret Medve Smith who survives and makes her home in Monticello. Kevin passed away Wednesday, January 22, at his home.

Also surviving is his half sister: Linda Berry and half brother: Steven Smith with several aunts and uncles, cousins other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

As a young man Kevin accepted Christ as Lord and was a member of the Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 1st in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ron Andrew officiating. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church building fund.
