'Larry Gene Thomas, better known to his loved ones as L.T. was born in Williamson, West Virginia on August 23, 1946. LT is preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Wollum Thomas and his father Jack Neal Thomas and his beloved wife, Trevia Sparks Thomas.

LT joined the Army on November 20, 1965 and was honorably discharged by the National Guard November 20, 1971 where he faithfully served his country to the fullest.

He enjoyed watching football and basketball games and was a huge fan of he Kentucky Wildcats.

LT is survived by three step children; Viola Anderson and Dennis Troxell both of Monticello, Thomas Workman of Georgia;; six grandchildren, Heather Hicks, Tiffany Morgan, Brian Anderson, Seth Troxell, Thomas and Tyler Workman; two great grand children, Trevia Anderson and Emma Troxell all of Monticello; and two brothers, Edwin Thomas of Orlando, Florida and Fred Thomas of Lexington.

LT will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity in knowing him.
