'Lawrence Robert Anderson, was born May 3, 1931 in the Pueblo community of Wayne County, the son of the late Clarence Robert and Derlie Ann Dick Anderson. He departed this life Monday morning, June 29th at his home on Columbia Avenue.

On July 4th, 1970 he united in marriage with Joan Powell Anderson who passed away November 2, 2011. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Wanda Sue Anderson Lewellen and two brothers: Billy Joe and Larry Anderson.

Surviving are his sons: Lawrence Robert Anderson Jr and Richard Duane Anderson; his sisters: Betty Gregory, Katy Gregory, Mildred Noerenburg and Patsy Irwin and his brother, Randal Anderson. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Lawrence was retired from Gamble Brothers and was a lifelong member of the Concord Baptist Church.
