'Leland Abbott was born in Wayne County, May 5th, 1951 the son of the late Alfred Emory Abbott and Betty Winchester Abbott who survives. He passed away after a brief illness, Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.On December 19, 1969 he united in marriage with Nancy Ruth Dodson Abbott who survives. To this union two children survive; Devona and her husband Scott Kelly and Lance and his wife Becky Abbott.Also surviving are three grandchildren, Samuel Kelly, Kru and Rawlin Abbott and Leland-s sister, Marla Abbott.Leland served his community working in the Wayne County Circuit Clerks Office. As a young man he accepted Christ as his savior and was a lifetime member of the Fall Creek Baptist Church where he served his Lord as a Deacon.

4 to 9 Thursday in the Funeral Home Chapel and 10 to 1 Friday at the Fall Creek Baptist Church
