'Leland Owen Black, age 79, passed away Saturday, June 26th at his home. He was born in Monticello the son of Ellis and Alice Black, who precedes him in death.He is survived by his wife, Bernice and three sons, David of Colorado Springs, CO, Terry and wife Linda of Bronston and Donald and wife Patty of Somerset; six grandchildren, Michael, George and Jeff of Colorado Springs; Jason and Matthew of Somerset and Terrian Randolph also of Somerset and one great grandson Austin Randolph of Somerset.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and Howard Black.He was retired from Southern Belle Dairy after forty two years of service. Leland had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Green Hill Baptist Church at the time of his passing.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Gideon Bible Memorial Plan.
