'Leonard William Coffey, age 70 was born in Wayne County, September 3, 1937 the son of the late Osro and Opal Taylor Coffey. He departed this life Wednesday evening, February 13th at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

On November 9th, 1975 he united in marriage with Maxine Winchester Coffey who survives. Also surviving are his daughters, Sherry Pyles of Monticello, Theresa Burton of Nancy and Kathy McKinney of Bowling Green.

Also surviving are two grandchildren; Joshua Burnett and Tiffany Evans and great-granddaughter, Scotlynn Taylor Evans; His sister, Velma Sue Correll, and brothers, Kermit, Dennis, Roland and Arnold.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Dallas and three infant brothers, Preston, Roy and Henderson.
