'Lillie Marie Worley Lair was born August 27th, 1920 in the Coopersville Community of Wayne County to the late Owen and Alice Anderson Worley, and passed away Saturday, March 8th at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital reaching the age of ninety three years.
On May 11th, 1946 she united in marriage with Leo Lair, who passed away December 9th, 2002 and to this union her daughter Glenda Jane Lair Stringer and husband Bro. Henry Stringer survives. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, Stacy and her husband Dewayne Perkins and Stephanie and her husband Kenny Robinette, her grandsons, Wesley Robinette, Andrew and Avery Perkins all of Monticello along with many nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.
She is preceded in death by her infant sister Delia Worley, sisters; Lela Emilson of Fowler, Indiana, Lonnie Bell of Monticello, and brothers Hubert, Luther, Coy, Shelly and Willard Worley all of Monticello and Kelly Worley of Templeton, Indiana.
Lillie had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at the Concord Baptist Church where she and Leo attended. In later years they became members at the Faith United Baptist Church where they remained members until their passing.
Lillie will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends that knew and loved her so much.
