'Lillie Godsey Rose, age 93, was born on April 12, 1919 the daughter of the late Cleveland and Sally New Godsey. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 5th, 2013.

On October 24th, 1940 she united in marriage with Ottis Rose who passed away February 5th , 1996. To this union four children survive: Harold Rose; Lois Keith; Glenna Sengstock and Freda New.

Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her daughter: Wilma Trueblood; her sisters: Flora Phillips and Clyda Rose; and her brothers: Hurstle and Cecil Godsey.

Lillie had accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and was a member of the Zion Baptist Church.
