Lonzo Phillips was born October 1, 1954 and departed this life Tuesday, December 22, 2020 reaching the age of 66 years. He was the son of (the late) Gilbert Phillips and Bonnie Tucker Phillips.

He married Lisa Phillips and to this union 3 children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Lisa Phillips; 2 daughters, Kimberly Phillips and Sharon (Eric) Hicks; 1 son, Bradley Phillips (Misti Rains); 4 sisters, Helen Foster, Linda Tucker, Carol New and Loyce Phillips; 1 brother, Lenvel Phillips; 4 grandchildren, Kayden, Carson & Hunter Hicks and Braiden Phillips; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 sister, Sue Phillips; and 1 brother, Bufford Phillips.

Lonzo was a member of the Clay Hill Baptist Church.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 2, 2021 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Denny Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
