Louise G. Cross was born March 1, 1936 and departed this life Tuesday, December 1, 2020 reaching the age of 84 years. She was the daughter of (the late) Melvin and Beatrice (Burnett) Baker.

She is survived by: 2 sisters, Zella Dodson and Marie Dodson; Special niece and nephew, Sue & Tommy Hay; Zadie Samuels whom was like a sister; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Edward Cross; and 1 brother, Mitchell Baker.

She was a loving sister, aunt, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

PRIVATE funeral service will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Due to the current covid-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. As the number of attendees is limited to 25 people only, a list will be provided to the funeral home by the family. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
