'Louise Kendrick Parmelee was born in Wayne County, July 23, 1923 the daughter of the late Claude and Gertrude Koger Parmelee. She departed this life, Sunday morning, February 14th at her home reaching an age of 92 years.
On July 8, 1944 she united in marriage with Fred Parmelee who passed away, September 7, 1983. Surviving are her children: Robert, Billy and Debbie Parmelee and the children she mothered: Jamie Morrow, Karen Bisczat and Donna Sexton.
Also surviving are her grandchildren: Jeff, Natalie and Jonathan Parmelee, Kristen Buxton, Micah Ferrell, Brandon Bisczat, Matthew and Eli Sexton and Hannah Brock, and 18 great grandchildren.
She was the last surviving member of the Claude and Gertrude Kendrick family. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Effie Samuels, Grace Ann Morrow, Clyde Ray, Fred, Perk, Cecil and Claude Kendrick Jr. She is also preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan.
Louise worked until her retirement in the ladies fashion industry and was a member of the Monticello First Baptist Church.
