­­­­­­­Lucy Abbott was born May 25, 1939, and departed this walk of life Sunday, February 1, 2026, reaching the age of 86 years. She was the daughter of the late John Towe and Tilda (Atkins) Towe.

She is survived by her Son: Mikel Leigh (Karen); Daughter: Gwen Snell; Grandchildren: Brandon, Lisa, Kristan, Morgan, Robbie and Andrea; Sixteen Great-Grandchildren; Brothers: Sammy, George, Herman. Along with a host of family and friends that mourn her passing

In addition to her parents John and Tilda (Atkins) Towe; she was preceded in death by her Husband: Glen Ray Abbott. Brothers: John, Kenneth, Hugh Bart, Raymond and Jimmy.

Lucy loved her Grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11 AM – 1 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, at 1 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Alexander Cemetery.
