Mabel Hicks was born May 28, 1926 and departed this life Saturday, March 28, 2020 reaching the age of 93 years. She was the daughter of the late Burton and Ala (McCutchen) Hicks.

She is survived by: 1 son, Don (Doris) Hicks; and 2 sisters, Lucille Carrender and Lillian Teater; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Hobert Hicks, Cosby Hicks and Cecil Hicks (whom died at infancy); and 2 sisters, Irene Coffey and Janet Lair.

She was a loving mother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

There will be no public services.
