Obituary
'Mae Henninger, age 86 was born in the Big Sinking community of Wayne County, May 2, 1921 the daughter of the late Everett Thomas -Doc- and Nancy Powell Dunagan.
She departed this life Saturday morning, February 16th at the Golden Years Nursing Home.
She was united in marriage with Jesse Ray Henninger who passed away February 4, 1948. To this union one daughter survives; Betty and her husband Kermit Coffey.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Vickie Black and Ray Lewis Coffey; five great grandchildren, Emily, Lindsey, Rachel, Megan and Justin and four great-great grandchildren, Ashton, Matthew, Isaac and Rebecca Mae.
She was the last surviving sibling of the Doc Dunagan family. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Nettie Boston, Edna Phillips, Cora Waters and brothers, Earl, Hubert, Jessie, Claude, Tom, Fred, Larry and Jim Dunagan.
Mrs. Henninger had accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and was a faithful member of the Meadow Creek United Methodist Church.
