'Maggie Lee Lovell Molen was born October 31, 1903 and went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 3, 2010 having reached the age of 107 years old, in Somerset, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Robert Fisk Lovell and Mattie Lee East Lovell.
She was married to Herstel Tate Molen who passed away April 30, 1986. To this marriage five children were born; Fred Norman, deceased, Earl Howard (Johnny) Molen, deceased, Ray Samuel (Dorothy) Molen of Harrodsburg, KY, Margaret Lee Molen York of Monticello and Marilyn Ann Molen (Johnie) Helton of Somerset, KY.
She is also survived by one sibling, Janet Lovell Hodges of the Meadow Creek community in Wayne County. Surviving are eleven grandchildren; Betty York (Larry) Kimbler, Thomasine York (Emerson) Dick, John David (Carolyn) York, Fredia York (Ed) Norris, Keith Chambers, Connie Molen, Scott Molen, Jonda Molen St John, Jackolyn Munsey (Ronnie) Upchurch, Donovan (Rhonda) Munsey and Billie Gibson (Gary) Gilbert; twenty one great grandchildren and nineteen great-great grandchildren. Her grandson, Andrew Molen Gibson and great grandson, Daniel Kimbler precedes her in death.
She was of the Methodist faith having accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and joined the Meadow Creek Methodist Church. She remained a member there although after marrying she attended the Tuttle Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was a homemaker and monarch of her family always putting others first. Her lifelong mission was to care for her family and provide for their needs. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and she always made sure you had plenty to eat when coming into her home. The lessons and examples she taught were many, some by word and some by deed.
