Obituary
'Marie F. Adams Troxell, age 81 was born in Jenkins Kentucky, January 24, 1926 the daughter of the late Sam Adams and Lee Ann Lawson Abbott. She departed this life Monday morning, January 14, 2008 at the home on Lewis Street.
In 1942 she was united in marriage with Jesse J. Troxell who passed away May 30, 1971. Surviving are three children; Phillips Phipps and Jeff Troxell both of Monticello and James Troxell of Stanton, KY. Her children, Ronald Glen Troxell, Faye Crabtree and Larry Wayne Spears precede her in death.
Also surviving is her brothers, Glenn Abbott, and sisters, Grace Baker, Mary k. Bowling and Lena Burks; grandchildren, Teresa Atkinson, Ronnie Kay Troxell, Jessica Lee Alexander, Phillip Ray Phipps, Carl Shane Troxell and Jamie Christopher Troxell; two great grandchildren Casey Lee Cooper and Michael Glen Troxell.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Susie Owens and brother, Joe Adams.
Marie had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Life Temple Pentecostal Church.
