'Marie L. Davis age 86 was born November 21, 1923 the daughter of the late Emerson and Lissie Stockton Bell. She departed this life Wednesday afternoon March 10th, at the Golden Years Nursing Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Reeda Stephenson and son, Bob Davis both of Monticello. Her son, Bill precedes her in death.

Also surviving is her grandchildren; Susan Stephenson Slagle, Michelle Tuggle, Inishia Simpson and Billie Tess Frazier; six great grandchildren and her sister, Nannie McCutchen and brother, Hershel Bell

She is preceded in death by her grandson, Gregg Jones; her sisters, Sally Coffey, Elsie Davis and Dorothy Neal and brothers, Frank, Fred, Earl and Clarence Bell.

Marie served her community as a nurse-s aid and served her Lord as a member of the Methodist Church.
