Obituary
'Marion Lee Bell, age 98, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the Golden Years Nursing Home.
He was born February 26, 1912 in the Wayne County, Kentucky the son of the late Castello and Maude Cox Bell who preceded him in death.
He married Gwenave Bell on December 27, 1965 who survives.
Marion and Gwenave have no children of their own, but were very instrumental in the rearing of their special nephews, Gerald Lynn Maxwell and Glen Edward Maxwell of Monticello.
He is also survived by two siblings, Gertrude Troxtel and Savannah Lee both of Nicholasville, Kentucky and many other nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were three sisters, Opal Bell, Mary Criswell and Louise Maxwell and four brothers, Claude, Earl, Henry and Arthur Bell.
He served his country with honor as a member of the United States Army during World War II in Belgium, Luxemburg, German and France.
He accepted Christ as his Savior while he was serving his country and attended the First Church of the Nazarene for many years.
