'Marion Haskel -Hack- Denney was born March 12, 1921 on the family farm in the Susie Community of Wayne County and departed this earth on May 27, 2011 having reached the age of 90. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing. Hack was the fourth child of the late Marion Denney and Gertrude Ragan Denney. He was preceded in death by all his brothers, Roy, Jep, Tom, Don and Ernest, and three sisters Bonnie Lyons, Mollie Bertram, and Georgia Baker. He was united in marriage to Audean Burton on January 6, 1951, a marriage of 60 years. To this union was born two children, David, who lives next door and Linda Martin of Fall Creek.Hack is survived by two sisters, Jane Jones and Mildred Ramsey of the Slat Community. He is also survived by his -babies-, four grandchildren, Stephanie Martin Floyd, Jason Martin, Nathan and Natalie Denney. He was a lifelong farmer and was a lifelong member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church. Hack was a loving father, grandfather, and devoted husband and will be sorely missed by all his nieces, nephews, and all that knew him.
