Obituary
'Marjorie L. New was born April 3rd, 1940 in Wayne County to the late Porter and Elsie Cole Brake and passed away November 4th, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, reaching the age of seventy~two years.
On July 16th, 1961 she united in marriage to Erstle J. New, who survives, and to this union were born two children, Sherry and Terry New. She is also survived by her brothers; Haskell Brake and Bobby Brake.
Marjorie\u0027s son Erstle Dwayne New passed away on June 20th, 2010. Also preceding her in death are her siblings; Zelma and Ellis Brake, both as infants and Effie Brake being nine years of age, and Alice Abbott, Vela Upchurch, Dorothy Neal, Ruth Morris, Elza, Howard, Harold and Junior Brake.
She had worked for many years, her last job being at Cumberland Wood and Chair where she retired after twelve years of service.
Marjorie had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of the New Charity Baptist Church.
She will be sadly missed by all of her friends and family that loved her so much.

5 to 9 PM Wednesday, November 7th in the Funeral Home Chapel
