Obituary
'Martha Maude Condreay Godsey was born June 23rd, 1935 in Wayne County to the late Virgil and May Marcum Huckaby and passed away Thursday, May 22nd at the Wayne County Hospital reaching the age of seventy eight years.
On July 26th, 1955 she was united in marriage with James Condreay, who passed away on August 27th, 1994, and to this union six children survive; Charlotte and husband James Perkins, Connie and husband Virgil Foster, Roscoe and wife Freda Daniels, Allen Condreay, Bobby and wife Connie Condreay and Joseph and wife Mary Kaye Condreay. She is also survived by her siblings; Curtis Pennicuff and Bertha Saylors along with eighteen grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren. In the year of 1995 she united in marriage to Ellis Godsey, who passed away on September 4th, 2002.
She is preceded in death by her two sons; Danny and Benton Condreay and her siblings; Eva Daniels, Relda Daniels, Dorothy Riddle, Ruben, Harlie and Huey Huckaby.
As a young girl Maude accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
