­­­­­­­Mary Snow Garrett was born August 2, 1947, and departed this life Monday, April 14, 2025, reaching the age of 77 years. She was the daughter of the late James Hunter and Antha (Napier) Hunter.

She is survived by her husband: Willie Garrett; Sons: Jeff Garrett (Tracy) and Raymond Garrett; Daughter: Janice McCloud; Grandchildren: Jacob Moore, Tyrese Garrett, Ashanti McCloud, Jaslyn Garrett and Sakara McCloud; Brother: Cecil Garth (Shirley); Sisters: Lena Allen (Alonzo), Martha Chaney (Greg) and Dorothy Garth.  Along with a host of family and friends that mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, James and Antha, she was preceded in death by 7 brothers: Regial Hunter, Billie Joe Hunter, James Harden Hunter, Sterling Hunter, Danny Hunter, Wilburn Hunter and James Lewis Garth, along with 3 sisters: Vida Hunter, Gladys Hunter and Margie Garth.

She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Monticello Cemetery.
