Obituary
'Mary Ellen Guffey was born March 31st, 1933 in the Powersburg Community of Wayne County to the late John Luther and Mollie Debrill Blevins Neal and passed away Monday, March 17th, 2014 at her home in New Palestine, Indiana reaching the age of eighty years.
On October 31st, 1949 she united in marriage to Lyle Guffey, who survives, and to this sixty five year union two children survive; JoAnn and her husband Bruce Shell and Jeffery and his wife Linda Guffey both of Indiana. Also surviving is her brother Gilbert Neal of Monticello, along with five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.
She is preceded in death by her siblings; Flora Neal, Ruth Ann Walker, Ella Mae Green and Earl Neal.
Mary had accepted Christ many years ago and was a member of the Little Zyon United Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends that loved her so much.

5 to 8 PM Wednesday in the Funeral Home Chapel
