Obituary
'Mary Hammond was born October 29th, 1927 in Wayne County to the late Claude and Eula Burris and passed away Monday, March 2nd at the Golden Years Nursing Home reaching the age of eighty seven years.
She united in marriage to Joe Hammond who passed away April 30th, 1978 and to this union nine children survive; Martha Tibbs, Thomas, Phillip, Jerry, Tim, Christopher, Lewis, Melvin and Robin Hammond along with her two sisters; Linda Bonta and Dorcey Bell, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. One grandson precedes her in death.
Mary had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Visitation:
5 to 9 PM Thursday in the Funeral Home Chapel

11 AM Friday in the Chapel of the Funeral Home
