'Mary Alice Hancock Turner was born November 5, 1939 in the Powersburg community of Wayne County the daughter of the late Newell Descoe and Bertha Lee Hicks Hancock. She departed this life Thursday, February 7th, at Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center reaching an age of 80 years.
On November 7, 1959 she united in marriage with Bro. Ralph Turner who precedes her in death.
Surviving are her siblings: Roger Hancock, Martha Gann and Barbara Sue Tackett, with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Her siblings: Georgia Kidd and T.C. Hancock precedes her in death.
As a young lady Mary accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Whispering Pines Church at the time of her passing.',
