'Mary Ruth Roberts Morrow was born August 8, 1924 in the Pueblo community of Wayne County the daughter of the late Grover C. and Amanda Sweet Roberts. She departed this life Thursday evening at the Golden Years Nursing Home reaching an age of 89 years.

On January 23, 1943 she united in marriage with her husband of 62 years, Lyle Gene Morrow who passed away June 17, 2005.

Mary Ruth was the last surviving member of the Grover and Amanda Roberts family. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Dorothy Morrow, Harry Roberts, Homer Roberts, Sidney Roberts, Mildred Dick, Beulah Dick, Frank Roberts and two infant siblings: Ralph and Eva Roberts.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews many other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing.

As a young lady she accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church at the time of her passing.
