Obituary

Mary Maxine Young (Correll), age 92, of New Richmond, OH entered into life on May 16,1933, and was called home to the Lord on April 5, 2025.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents: Green and Luttie Correll; Sisters: Myrtle, Lonnie, Dorothy, Ardith, Ova and Vela; Brother: Tildon; Son: Michael; Daughter: Janet Marie and Husband of 53 years Denver.

She celebrated her life every day and enjoyed Vacations to Florida, Camping, and quilting.  She and Denver enjoyed Bluegrass Music and Festivals, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. You very rarely would find her without a contagious smile on her face or a kind word. She was also a dedicated member of the Eastern Star for 50+ years.

Those left to celebrate her life include her Children: Denver "Gene" Young of Louisville, KY, Patricia Haas (James) of New Richmond, OH and Timmy Young (Ruth) of New Richmond, OH.

7 Grandchildren: Malina (Rob), Nathan, Brandon (Lacey), Kevin (Katie), Denver (Kate), Mike and Nathan (Lisa).

17 Great Grandchildren: Kyle, Kayla, Aubrie, Emma, Molly, Jacob, Oliver, Phillip, Patrick, Chloe, Grant, Dyson, Kylee, Ava, Ashley, Blake and Quinton. Along with Great-Great Grandchildren: Averi, Lucas, Jaiden and Aspyn (On the way).

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Branscum Cemetery.

Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
