Matthew Crabtree, age 43 of Monticello, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Wayne County Hospital.

He was born August 2, 1976 in Monticello, KY; the son of Jerry Kay Crabtree and (the late) Linda Troxell.

He is survived by: his father, Jerry Kay Crabtree; 1 brother, Shawn Crabtree; 4 sisters, Lynn Smedley, Jane Sanjuan, Angela Honey & Kadence Oliva; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by: 1 infant sister, Kimberly Crabtree.

He was a loving son, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 27, 2020 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 2 pm at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the New Sandusky Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to: Matthew Crabtree Memorial Fund.
