'Matthew Jordan Pierce, age 23 was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, August 17, 1988, the son of Karen Frost and Carl Wayne Pierce. He passed away Sunday morning, May 27th, 2012.
He is survived by his parents: Karen and Carl; sister: Kerra Pierce and brothers: Nathaniel Pierce and Daniel and his wife Cynthia Pierce and their children: Makeighlee and Malaki.
Also surviving is his girlfriend: Aleigha Slaven; his grandparents: Junior Carl Pierce; Kenneth and Mary Frost; Aunts and uncles: Kathleen and David Marcum; Pamela Armstrong; Lisa and Kenny Hill; Robin Duvall and Penny Smith.
He is preceded in death by his infant sister: Elisabeth Pierce and his grandmother: Imogene Pierce.
