'Maxcine Weaver, age 68 was born Feb 8th, 1940 in the Kidder community of Wayne County the daughter of the late Everett and Myrtie Keith Hammond. She departed this life Monday morning, Sept 1, at the Beech Tree Manor in Jellico, TN.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years Joe Weaver of the Frazer community of Wayne County; three sisters; Kathleen Hammond, Dora Riggs both of Somerset, Barbara(John) Emerson of Bronston and three brothers, Bobby (Christeen)Hammond of Somerset, Gale (Judy) Hammond of St. Cloud, Florida and Michael (Sue) Hammond of Nancy, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Maxcine was a beautician and owner of Maxcine-s Hair Design of Somerset for many years and was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be 10 AM Thursday in the Funeral Home with Bro. James Simpson and Bro. Greg Haynes officiating, with burial in the Elk Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 Wednesday evening and Thursday until service time.
