'Juanita Mayo Anderson Dean was born January 12, 1923 in the Parmleysville community of Wayne County, the daughter of the late Maynard and Viola Johnson Anderson. She departed this life Tuesday, October 26, at the Golden Living Center in Stanford reaching an age of 87 years.She was united in marriage with Freddie Dean who passed away May 26, 2002She leaves behind to mourn her passing a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mayo is the last survivor of the Maynard and Viola Anderson family. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Ima Anderson, Roxie Cooper, Effie Hale, Virgil, Sterlie, Willie and Versie Anderson. Mrs. Dean had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
